As an economist, I recognize the acute need for transformational secondary educational institutions focused on girls and leadership. During this pivotal adolescent stage, girls form key perspectives on their own abilities, the world around them and their approach to decision-making. This in turn determines their prospects for the future. We live in a time in which our communities need responsible stewardship and our girls deserve every possible opportunity available.
At Avasara, we don’t rest simply on attractive student-teacher ratios and international curriculum requirements. We have always been clear that we are here to develop an innovative institution that stands for excellence in girls' education and provides a platform of lifetime opportunities for leadership. Avasara is a place where every curricular and programmatic decision is based on a thoughtful and iterative approach to how students learn, develop, and thrive. We are rooted in a highly academic and intellectual approach, drawing in a large network of our unique academic and professional networks to contribute to our community.
As an individual, Avasara is the expression of a dream that started over fifteen years ago—not far from here—when I was the age of our students. I speak for our founding team when I say that Avasara is an intensely personal endeavor for all of us, one that is motivated by the desire to expand the set of opportunities for our students.
Thank you for visiting our site. I invite you to get to know our community better. We see Avasara students graduating with strength of character, a creative and entrepreneurial spirit, the ambition to stretch their talents, and above all, the drive to lead. If you are interested in applying, you will find all the information you need to get started here.
